- Start by trimming nails to the desired shape with the clipper set. Lift up and rotate lever of clippers. Clip nails into the desired shape, starting at the corners and clipping toward the center. Next, clip center to finish the shape. This will apply less stress on the natural nail and help prevent the chance of splitting while clipping.
- File your nails to further define your desired shape and to smooth nail edges with the nail file. Start from the side of the nail and file in one motion towards the center.
- Using the curved side of the pushy, gently push back cuticle to create an even shape and loosen cuticle for excess trimming. Clean under and around the nail using the narrow edged tip to safely clean under nails.
- With the Rockhard Cuticle Nipper, carefully trim any pieces of non-living skin. Be careful not to overcut the cuticle and cut into the tissue.
